Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Welcome students and display world map. Ask students to point out different countries their families originally came from.

2Teaching (10 min)

Explain how the Middle Colonies were home to many different cultural groups including English, Dutch, German, Swedish, and Native Americans. Discuss how these groups learned to live together and work together.
