Lesson Plan

1Opening (3 min)

Welcome to today's BibleMouse science adventure! Let's remember what we learned about pushing and pulling yesterday.

💭 Review Question: Can you show me how you push something?
2Teaching (5 min)

Today we're going to explore how things move! Sometimes we can make objects move by pushing or pulling them.

exploration

Let's experiment with moving different objects on our BibleMouse exploration mat

📝 Instructions:
  1. Place different objects on the mat
  2. Try pushing each object
  3. Try pulling each object
  4. Notice how some things move easily and some don't
🔄 Variations:

Simpler: Focus on just 2-3 objects

Challenge: Use the ramp to see how pushing affects movement speed

4Closing (3 min)

Let's review what we learned about moving things!

📝 Review Questions:
  • What did we learn about pushing?
