God said, 'Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be food for you. To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food.' And it was so.

  • Some animals eat BOTH plants and meat (omnivores)
💬 Discussion Questions:
  • What foods do you like to eat?
  • Can you think of an animal that eats both plants and meat?
3Activity: Omnivore Matching Game (6 min)
exploration

Sort animal and food picture cards to show which animals eat what

📝 Instructions:
  1. Spread out animal cards
  2. Spread out food cards
  3. Match foods to the right animals
  4. Talk about which animals are omnivores
🔄 Variations:
