2Teaching (5 min)

Introducing 'One More or One Less' game with gentle guidance

  • Sometimes we want to add one more friend to our group
  • Sometimes we want to take one friend away
  • We can do this with numbers too!

Students play a game determining whether to add or subtract one

  1. Place number cards face down
  2. Draw a card and count out that many bears
  3. Roll a special dice that says 'One More' or 'One Less'
  4. Follow the dice instruction with your bears
