— Genesis 15:5 (WEB)God promised Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky
In today's BibleMouse lesson, we're going to make a special starry night craft to remember God's amazing promise to Abraham!
God told Abraham to look up at the night sky. He said, 'Count the stars if you can!' But there were SO many stars that Abraham couldn't count them all. God was showing Abraham that he would have SO MANY children and grandchildren - more than anyone could count!
Create a nighttime sky showing God's promise to Abraham
Simpler: Parents can help place stickers
Challenge: Try to make constellation patterns or count stars
Let's remember that God always keeps His promises, just like He did for Abraham!
Dear God, thank You for keeping Your promises. Help us trust You like Abraham did.
Coming up: Tomorrow we'll learn more about how God took care of Abraham's family
“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you.”
— Genesis 12:2 (WEB)🎯 Activity: Starry Sky Memory Verse: Sing the verse while placing star stickers on a black paper sky, repeating the words with each star
This lesson helps children understand God's faithfulness through a concrete, visual experience
Children may get distracted or have difficulty understanding abstract concepts of promises
Excitement about stars, ability to listen to the story, engagement with craft
