1Opening (3 min)

Welcome to today's BibleMouse adventure! Remember how we learned about Baby Jesus yesterday? Today we'll discover something special about the night He was born.

2Teaching (5 min)

On the night Jesus was born, something amazing happened in the fields. Shepherds were taking care of their sheep in the dark. They were watching carefully to keep their sheep safe.

  • Shepherds stayed outside all night with their sheep
  • They worked hard to protect their animals
  • God had a special surprise for these shepherds

3Activity: Shepherd and Sheep Adventure (6 min)

Create a pretend field with a blanket. One child is the shepherd, others are sheep. Use a flashlight to represent the angel's bright light.

📝 Instructions:
  1. Spread blanket on floor for 'field'
  2. Choose a shepherd and sheep
  3. Pretend to watch sheep at night
  4. Shine flashlight to 'surprise' the shepherds

God chose simple shepherds to hear about Jesus' birth. He wanted everyone to know about His special gift!
