2Teaching (7 min)

Today we'll make a special 'Line Dance Picture' where all our lines will dance together on the paper!

📌 Key Talking Points:
  • Straight lines are like rulers - nice and neat
  • Curved lines bend and wave like a rainbow
  • Zigzag lines jump and bounce around
💬 Discussion Questions:
  • What lines do you see around our room?
  • Can you make a line with your finger in the air?
3Activity: Line Dance Picture (8 min)
hands-on

Draw a picture using all types of lines - straight, curved, and zigzag

  1. Choose 3-4 crayon colors
  2. Draw a straight line for ground or horizon
  3. Add curved lines for hills or clouds
