  • Various household objects (soft toy, wooden block, smooth stone, etc.)
  • Blindfold or scarf

Lesson Plan

1Opening (3 min)

In today's BibleMouse lesson, we're going to play a fun game using our special God-given senses!

💭 Review Question: What senses did we use on our nature walk yesterday?
2Teaching (5 min)

Today we'll explore how God gave us amazing ways to learn about the world around us

3Activity: Mystery Sensory Boxes (6 min)
game

Hide objects in boxes and guess what they are using only touch or sound

📝 Instructions:
  1. Prepare 3-4 boxes with different objects inside
  2. Child puts on blindfold or closes eyes
  3. Reach into box and try to guess the object
  4. Describe what you feel or hear
  5. Reveal the object and discuss
🔄 Variations:

Simpler: Parent helps guide child's hand and gives hints

Challenge: Use more complex or similar-feeling objects
