2Teaching (5 min)

In today's BibleMouse lesson, we're going to play a special listening game! God gave us amazing ears to hear all the wonderful sounds around us.

📌 Key Talking Points:
  • Our ears help us hear different sounds
  • We can learn a lot by listening carefully
  • God made our ears special so we can hear His world
💬 Discussion Questions:
  • What sounds do you like to hear?
  • How do we listen carefully?
3Activity: Mystery Sound Guessing Game (6 min)
game

Create sound containers with different objects inside. Child tries to guess what's making the sound by listening carefully.

📝 Instructions:
  1. Gather 3-4 containers with different items inside
  2. Gently shake each container near child's ear
  3. Ask child to guess what might be inside
  4. Reveal the sound source after each guess
🔄 Variations:

Simpler: Use fewer containers with more distinct sounds

Challenge: Have child close eyes and identify sounds from across the room

4Closing (3 min)

Review the sounds we heard and talk about how God gave us special ears to listen

📝 Review Questions:
  • What sounds did we hear today?
  • How can we be good listeners?

Coming up: Tomorrow we'll explore how our skin helps us feel different textures
