  • Marker or label for 'Roll' and 'Slide' groups

Recap yesterday's ramp races and introduce today's sorting activity

2Teaching (5 min)

Demonstrate rolling and sliding with different objects

  1. Place two boxes/trays on the floor
  2. Label one 'Roll' and one 'Slide'
  3. Collect various objects around the room
  4. Test each object - does it roll or slide?
  5. Place in correct box
