Recap yesterday's clapping echo game and introduce today's singing echo activity

2Teaching (5 min)

Introduce vocal echoing with simple, fun patterns

  • Try to sing back exactly what you hear
  • It's okay if it's not perfect - we're learning!

📝 Instructions:
  1. Sit facing each other
  2. Parent sings a short pattern
  3. Child tries to repeat the exact same pattern
  4. Use hand drum to mark the beginning of each pattern
🔄 Variations:

Simpler: Use only 2 notes, speak-sing the pattern

Challenge: Add more notes or use nonsense syllables

Celebrate musical attempts and review what we learned
