2Teaching (5 min)

Introduce color pattern with red and blue beads

📌 Key Talking Points:
  • Look at these beautiful beads God gave us!
  • We can make a special pattern with these colors

💬 Discussion Questions:
  • What colors do we have?
  • Can you see the pattern?
3Activity: BibleMouse Bead Stringing (6 min)
hands-on

Children string red and blue beads in alternating pattern

📝 Instructions:
  1. Tape one end of the string to make a 'needle'
  2. Show child how to alternate red and blue beads
  3. Help child complete a 6-8 bead pattern
  4. Celebrate their pattern-making!
🔄 Variations:

Simpler: Parent helps guide each bead

Challenge: Child creates pattern independently

4Closing (3 min)

Review pattern and celebrate learning

📝 Review Questions:
  • What colors did we use?
  • Can you show me your pattern?

Coming up: Tomorrow we'll make patterns with shapes!
