βFor as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.β
β Psalm 103:11 (WEB)This verse teaches us that God's love is as big as the huge sky above us - bigger than we can even understand!
Welcome to today's BibleMouse lesson! Let's start by remembering what we learned yesterday. God sees you everywhere - when you play, eat, and sleep! Today we're going to discover something even more amazing about God's love for you!
Today we're learning that God's love is SO BIG! Let's read what the Bible says: 'For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him' (Psalm 103:11, WEB). That means God's love for you is as big as the whole sky! Look up - can you see where the sky ends? God's love is even bigger than that!
Children will use their senses to experience 'big' and 'endless' through touch, sight, and movement while learning about God's massive love.
Simpler: Focus on just one sensory station and use simple words like 'big, big, BIG!'
Challenge: Have child help measure things in the room and compare them to God's 'unmeasurable' love
What an amazing truth we learned today! God's love for you is bigger than the sky, deeper than the ocean, and it never ends. You can check your BibleMouse Resource Guide for more activities about God's big love this week!
Dear God, thank You that Your love for us is so big! Help us remember that Your love is bigger than anything we can see. Amen.
Coming up: Tomorrow we'll have a special celebration day to thank God for making us, knowing us, seeing us, and loving us always!
βGod made everything!β
β Genesis 1:1 (WEB)π― Activity: Practice with big motions! Stretch arms wide on 'God,' point up and around on 'made,' and spread arms super wide on 'everything!' Say it three times getting bigger each time.
At age 3, children are beginning to understand size concepts but still think very concretely. Use physical demonstrations and let them experience 'bigness' through their senses rather than trying to explain abstract concepts.
Some children may feel overwhelmed by the concept of 'endless' - reassure them that God's big love means they are extra safe and cared for.
