Lesson Plan

1Opening (3 min)

Today in our BibleMouse lesson, we're going to explore big and little shapes together! Remember how we made giant circles yesterday and tiny dots the day before?

💭 Review Question: Can you show me a big shape you remember from yesterday?
2Teaching (7 min)

Let's talk about how God makes everything - some things big, some things little!

📌 Key Talking Points:
  • God loves variety in sizes
  • Big and little shapes can be friends on the same paper
  • Every shape is special, just like every person
💬 Discussion Questions:
  • What big things do you see around you?
  • What tiny things can you find?
3Activity: Big and Little Shape Party (8 min)

Draw shapes of different sizes on your paper. Some big, some small!

📝 Instructions:
  1. Take your paper and spread it out
  2. Choose a crayon color you love
  3. Draw one BIG shape in the middle
  4. Now draw LITTLE shapes around the big shape
  5. Try to make your little shapes different from your big shape
🔄 Variations:

Simpler: Parent can draw first shape to demonstrate

Challenge: Try to make 5 different sized shapes

Let's look at our beautiful artwork and remember that God loves ALL sizes!

  • What big shape did you draw?
