  • Large white paper
  • Tempera paint
  • Large paintbrushes
  • Paint cups
  • Smocks or old shirts
  • Wet wipes for cleanup

Lesson Plan

1Opening (3 min)

Remind children about previous brush painting lessons. Show example of long brush strokes.

Demonstrate how to make long, smooth brush strokes across paper
