Gather students and sing a phonics review song. Explain we're going to play a special word sorting game today!
Review digraphs (sh, ch, th, wh) and blends (bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, sl, br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, tr)
Students will sort word cards into different digraph and blend categories
Simpler: Use fewer cards and focus on 3-4 digraphs
Challenge: Create sentences using sorted words
Celebrate learning by doing a quick word reading parade
