Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students in a circle. Sing a phonics warm-up song about letter sounds. Review short vowel sounds using hand motions.

2Teaching (7 min)

Demonstrate CVC word building using letter cards. Model how to sound out words like 'cat', 'dog', 'pig'.
