💭 Review Question: What do you wonder about when someone tells you a story?
2Teaching (7 min)

Explain that 'who' questions help us know about characters, and 'what' questions help us understand what happens in a story.

📌 Key Talking Points:
  • Who are the people in the story?
  • What happens in the story?
  • Why are questions important?
💬 Discussion Questions:
  • Can you tell me who was in the story?
  • What did the main character do?
  • What was your favorite part?
3Activity: Question Detective Game (5 min)
hands-on

Children create question cards with 'who' and 'what' questions about a simple Bible story.

📝 Instructions:
  1. Read a short Bible story
  2. Help children make question cards
  3. Take turns asking and answering questions
🔄 Variations:

Simpler: Teacher helps write questions

Challenge: Children write their own questions independently

4Closing (3 min)

Review what we learned about asking questions

📝 Review Questions:
  • What is a 'who' question?
  • What is a 'what' question?
  • Why do we ask questions?
🙏 Prayer:

Dear Jesus, help us learn to understand stories and Your Word better. Amen.

Coming up: Tomorrow we'll learn about 'where' and 'when' questions!
