  • Crayons or colored pencils
  • Bible storybook
  • Clipboard or hard surface for drawing

Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather children and read a familiar Bible story, such as the story of Noah's Ark or Daniel in the Lion's Den

💭 Review Question: Who can tell me one thing that happened in our story?
2Teaching (5 min)

Today we will draw pictures showing what we remember about the story

3Activity: Story Element Drawing (7 min)

  1. Fold paper into three sections
  2. In first section, draw the main character
  3. In second section, draw where the story happens
  4. In third section, draw the most important thing that happened
