Gather students and review portfolio piece selection from previous day. Remind students that revision is about making good writing even better.
Demonstrate revision techniques using a sample piece, showing how to improve content, organization, and style.
Students will independently revise selected portfolio pieces using provided revision checklist
Simpler: Work with a partner for collaborative editing
Challenge: Set specific improvement goals for each piece
