Students will create a visual representation of westward trails using the map, string, and push pins.

📝 Instructions:
  1. Trace each trail's route using different colored strings
  2. Mark key landmarks and challenges along each trail
  3. Calculate approximate distances between major points
🔄 Variations:

Simpler: Provide pre-marked trail routes

Challenge: Research and add additional historical details about each trail

4Closing (5 min)

📝 Review Questions:
  • What was the longest trail we studied today?
  • What challenges did pioneers face?
  • How might trusting God help during difficult journeys?
🙏 Prayer:

Dear God, thank You for giving pioneers courage and strength during their challenging journeys. Help us trust You in our own life adventures.
