Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Review Socratic seminar guidelines. Remind students about respectful listening and asking thoughtful questions.

2Teaching (10 min)

Demonstrate text annotation techniques. Show how to mark important passages, write questions in margins, and identify key themes.

  4. Highlight 2-3 important quotes that might be useful in discussion
