Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Review previous day's lesson on essay organization. Explain that today we'll learn how to write strong body paragraphs.

2Teaching (10 min)

Body paragraphs help explain your thesis by providing evidence and analysis. Each paragraph needs a topic sentence, specific evidence, and explanation of how that evidence supports your main idea.
