Learning Objectives

1

Understand the biblical concept of joy as a choice, not dependent on circumstances

2

Learn how to respond to anxiety with prayer and thanksgiving

3

Develop a positive attitude of trusting God in all situations

Philippians 4:4-7

Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. In nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
