Gather students in a circle. Explain that today we're reviewing all the vocabulary strategies we've learned this year.
Review four main vocabulary strategies: context clues, word parts, dictionary use, and word relationships
Students work in pairs to solve vocabulary mysteries using different strategies
Simpler: Provide a word bank and more guidance
Challenge: Use more complex, multi-syllable words
Reflect on vocabulary learning and strategies
