Model a book talk presentation about a book students are familiar with, demonstrating how to share exciting details without revealing the entire plot.
Students will take turns giving 2-3 minute book talks about their favorite independent reading book from the year.
Simpler: Use note cards with key points
Challenge: Create a visual aid or poster to accompany presentation
Celebrate each student's presentation with applause and encouragement.
