Gather students in a circle and explain today's goal of sharing their informative writing with classmates. Remind students about good presentation skills: speaking clearly, making eye contact, and standing confidently.
Review presentation guidelines: speak slowly, use a clear voice, make eye contact, and share interesting facts from research.
Students will take turns presenting their informative writing to the class, using note cards and optional visual aids.
Simpler: Allow students to present with a partner
Challenge: Require students to create a visual display with their presentation
Celebrate student presentations and provide gentle, constructive feedback.
