Gather students and review the spelling strategies chart. Ask students to share what strategies they remember from the year.
Review key spelling strategies: sound mapping, syllable breaking, prefix/suffix rules, visual memory, and phonetic spelling
Students create a 'Spelling Strategy Challenge' card game where they write words and must explain which strategy they would use to spell them
Simpler: Use pre-selected word list
Challenge: Include multi-syllable or complex words
Reflect on learned spelling strategies and celebrate their spelling growth
