Remind students about the parts of a friendly letter learned in previous lessons. Discuss how letters help us connect with others and share our thoughts.
Review the five parts of a friendly letter: heading, greeting, body, closing, and signature. Demonstrate how to write a friendly letter that shares news, asks questions, and shows care for the recipient.
Students will write a friendly letter to a family member, friend, or church member, using the letter template and following the five-part structure.
