Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students around a world map. Ask them to look closely and share what they notice about the Earth's surface.

2Teaching (10 min)

Introduce the seven continents and five oceans, explaining their names and basic locations.

  • Continents: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Antarctica

  • Earth is about 71% water and 29% land
