💭 Review Question: What does being brave mean to you?
2Teaching (10 min)

Early Christians lived in a time when believing in Jesus could mean being hurt or killed. Roman leaders didn't like Christians because they wouldn't worship the Roman emperor or false gods.

📌 Key Talking Points:
  • Christians were often thrown to lions
  • Some were put in prison
  • Many refused to stop talking about Jesus
  • They believed God would give them strength
💬 Discussion Questions:
  • Why do you think these Christians were so brave?
  • How would you feel if someone told you not to talk about Jesus?
  • What gives people courage?
3Activity: Courage Shields (10 min)

4Closing (5 min)

Remind students that God is always with us, even when things are hard

📝 Review Questions:
  • What did you learn about Christian courage?
  • How can we be brave like early Christians?
🙏 Prayer:

Dear Jesus, thank you for giving us courage. Help us be brave and trust in You, no matter what happens.
