Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Welcome students and explain that today we'll explore what makes Christianity special - God's personal love!

💭 Review Question: Can anyone tell me one way God shows He loves us?
2Teaching (10 min)

Christianity is unique because God wants a personal relationship with each of us. Unlike other religions where people try to reach God, in Christianity, God reaches out to us through Jesus.

📝 Instructions:
  1. Draw a big heart on poster board
  2. Write 'God Loves Me' in the center
  3. Around the heart, draw pictures of ways God shows love
  4. Include Bible, Jesus, prayer, family, creation

Remind students that God loves them personally and wants a relationship with them
