Review different syllable types learned so far: closed, open, VCe, and vowel team syllables. Show examples of each type on the whiteboard.
Today we'll practice finding and reading words with mixed syllable types. We'll look at how different syllables work together in longer words.
Students will divide words into syllables, color-coding each syllable type and reading the complete word.
