Gather students in a circle and show various nature picture cards. Ask students to look carefully and describe what they see.
Explain that adjectives are special words that help us describe things more clearly. Just like God gave Adam words to name animals, He gives us words to describe His wonderful creation.
Students will draw a picture of something from creation and write at least 3 descriptive adjectives about it.
Simpler: Teacher provides a word bank of adjectives
Challenge: Students must use unique adjectives not on the word bank
Remind students that God gave us language as a beautiful gift to understand and appreciate His creation.
Dear God, thank You for giving us wonderful words to describe Your amazing world. Help us use our words to honor You.
