Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students in a circle. Explain that today we'll learn how to plan a special story about something that happened to them.

2Teaching (8 min)

Demonstrate how to use a story map by drawing a simple map of a story about helping a friend. Show how to mark the beginning (something happened), middle (what I did), and end (what I learned).
