Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students and ask them what they know about the leaders who run our entire country. Show pictures of national government buildings and leaders.

2Teaching (10 min)

Today we'll learn about national government, which makes rules for our whole country. Three main groups work together: the President, Congress, and Supreme Court.
