1Opening (5 min)

Begin with a prayer thanking God for giving us wisdom to create good rules. Ask students to share a time when rules helped keep them safe.

Explain how the early Americans needed a way to create fair rules for everyone. Just like God gives us guidelines to live by, the Constitution provides guidelines for our country.
