Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students around a large US map. Ask them what they know about different parts of the United States.

2Teaching (8 min)

Introduce the five US regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and West. Explain simple characteristics of each region.
