Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students around world map. Point out continents and highlight North America. Explain we'll learn about our special country today.

2Teaching (10 min)

The United States is a big country in North America. It's surrounded by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. We have many different kinds of land, from mountains to forests to beaches.
