Gather students around the map. Ask them to point out where they live and discuss how their environment looks different from other places.
Introduce six Native American regions: Northeast, Southeast, Plains, Southwest, Northwest, and California. Describe unique characteristics of each region.
Students create a regional landscape collage representing one Native American region
