Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students in a circle and ask what they think 'stewardship' means. Explain it's taking care of something that belongs to someone else - in this case, taking care of God's gifts.

💭 Review Question: What special gifts has God given you?
2Teaching (10 min)

God gives us many wonderful gifts like time, talents, money, and resources. Being a good steward means taking care of these gifts carefully and using them to help others.

  • Sharing is an important part of stewardship

Create a special notebook to track how you can be a good steward

📝 Instructions:
  1. Fold a piece of paper in half
  2. Decorate the cover with 'My Stewardship Journal'
  3. Draw pictures of gifts God has given you
  4. Write or draw ways you can take care of these gifts

Review what we learned about being good stewards
