Gather students in a circle and show different resource objects. Ask them to imagine what would happen if we used things carelessly.
God created the world and gave us amazing resources to use, not waste. Being a good steward means taking care of what God has given us.
Create a poster showing ways to save and protect resources
Simpler: Use stickers and pre-drawn resource outlines
Challenge: Write short sentences explaining conservation
Remind students that being a good steward makes God happy
Dear God, help us take care of the wonderful resources You've given us. Show us how to be good stewards. Amen.
