Gather children in a circle. Ask them to share a time when they felt frustrated or wanted something different than what they had.
Tell the story of the Israelites complaining about food in the wilderness. Explain how God sent quail to show both His provision and His disappointment with constant grumbling.
Children create a poster showing how many quail God sent, practicing gratitude
Simpler: Teacher helps with cutting and gluing
Challenge: Children calculate and write number of quail
Remind children that God loves them and provides for their needs
Dear Jesus, help us to be thankful for what You provide and trust in Your love.
