Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students and show various images of shapes found in nature and man-made objects. Ask students to describe what they see.

Explain the difference between geometric shapes (perfect circles, squares, triangles) and organic shapes (free-form, natural shapes that aren't perfectly symmetrical)
