Demonstrate how to make careful observations using multiple senses (except taste)
Students will explore mystery boxes with various objects, carefully recording observations in science journals
Simpler: Provide more guidance and fewer objects
Challenge: Add more complex objects with subtle differences
Discuss what students discovered and learned about being careful observers
