Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students in a circle. Show a picture book about creation. Ask students to listen carefully to how the story is organized.

Today we'll learn how stories have a main idea, just like God has a plan for everything He creates. The main idea is what the whole story is about, and details help us understand it better.
