Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather in circle and review previous day's short vowel sounds. Use hand motions for each vowel sound.

2Teaching (8 min)

Demonstrate building CVC words by changing one letter at a time. Show how 'cat' becomes 'hat' by switching first letter.
