Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students in a circle and introduce the magical world of prefixes. Explain that small word parts can change the meaning of words.

2Teaching (8 min)

Introduce un- as a special prefix that means 'not' or 'opposite'. Show examples like happy/unhappy, kind/unkind, tied/untied.
