Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students and introduce l-blends with a fun sound game. Make funny sounds like 'bloo', 'clee', 'flay' to demonstrate blending.

Explain that l-blends are two consonants that work together at the start of words. Show example words: 'block', 'clap', 'flag'.
