Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Welcome students and introduce 'Sound Detective' game. Explain we'll be listening carefully to sounds in words, just like we listen carefully to God's words.

2Teaching (8 min)

Demonstrate phoneme segmentation using CVC words with short 'a' sounds like 'cat', 'rat', 'bat'.
